What We are Looking For:

An Aftermarket Sales Manager who is responsible for the retention, maximisation, and growth of all aftermarket sales to designated “key customers” in the UK and Ireland.  To serve as the liaison between sales and service departments and customers, ensuring outstanding customer service and client satisfaction. Duties include developing account strategies and plans, managing client relationships whilst carefully assessing a client’s needs and delivering appropriate products and services.  If a problem arises, coordinate with the appropriate departments within the company to resolve the situation.  You must be presentable and provide strong communication skills to meet the demands of our fast-moving business whilst ensuring that there is a strong focus on achieving growth, financial and profit margin targets specific to this part of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Maximising prices, margins, and volume share
  • Offering the full portfolio of products and services to customers
  • Selling products and services whenever we are quoting or realising a new project
  • Onboarding customers following the completion of projects
  • Preparing specifications and aftermarket quotations for customers
  • Negotiating and closing business contracts with existing and new clients
  • Executing strategic action plans
  • Preparing and presenting business and account updates to the company’s Sales Director
  • Monitoring the budget of the client, explaining costs, and discussing new terms if necessary
  • Following up clients to ensure they are satisfied with the company’s products or services
  • Contributing information to sales strategies by assessing current product results, monitoring competitive products, assessing needs to be filled and analysing customer reactions
  • Raising any customer concerns with the internal team and coming to mutually agreed and beneficial resolutions
  • Provide enquiry status updates and a monthly sales report
  • Building-up and maintaining a detailed understanding and picture of the market in terms of customers, products, services, suppliers, co-suppliers, competitors, applications, and emerging applications.
