General Fabrication is a diverse industry, encompassing portal frame building manufacture and general steel structures. Hodge Clemco has a range of Industrial & Standard products tailored for this industry.

Large, heavy fabrications can be locally blast cleaned in a blast hall. These halls are usually too large to install a dedicated blast room. In many cases, JBlast is the preferred type of abrasive used in these halls.

In some cases, Hodge Clemco can install a localised grit recovery/recycling system in addition to a mobile dust extraction unit, allowing the use of recyclable abrasives such as chilled iron which offers lower running costs and better visibility inside the hall. This type of system is commonly used in the manufacture of oil rig structures.

Medium Fabrications can fit inside a purpose built blast room. Our systems can be installed with multiple operators, offering optimum production levels.

Please view our Blast rooms section for some example solutions. Smaller Fabrications can be handled within a blast cabinet and we offer a range of cabinet sizes to suit most applications.
