Hodge Clemco offers tailored solutions to the automotive and vehicle refinishing industry. This encompasses the cleaning and restoration of commercial vehicles, (haulage trailers & trucks, dump bodies, dump trailers, bulldozers, coaches, vans), alloy wheels, sports cars and classic cars.

Our blast machines are effective at removing paint coatings, rust and mill-scale, to prepare the surface for a durable paint finish.

Alloy wheel restoration can be carried out in our fixed pressure blast cabinet.

Sports and classic cars are often cherished by their owners. The care taken to restore a vehicle to its former glory is respected by our commitment to provide precise blast cleaning systems. Controllable pressure blast machines with accurate air flow and grit control ensure that selective and delicate blast cleaning can be undertaken. When used with the correct abrasive, vehicle panels can be stripped of old paint and rust. This is done without damage or warping which can occur on inferior machines.

Alternators, starter motors, fuel pumps and engine parts can all be restored to pristine condition using a blast cabinet. The use of Aluminium Oxide or Glass Bead can restore the engine parts to a show room finish.

Commercial refinishing includes the renovation of trailers, cranes and heavy mobile plant. Our range of internal and externally located blast booths are designed for heavy plant and machinery. Partial and full underfloor grit recovery units are offered in addition to a range of recycling systems. Hodge Clemco has a standard range of booth sizes although our engineering department can cater for our clients’ exact requirements.

Hodge Clemco abrasive options include a diverse range of medias including Aluminium Oxide, Glass Bead, Garnet and Chilled Iron. JBlast is also available for this application for site specific applications.
